LION KICKS OFF SAP CLOUD ERP PROJECT, BUILDING A MODERN MANAGEMENT SYSTEM WITH CITEK
The Enterprise Management Digital Transformation Project serves as the foundation for the LION Electric Cable brand to enhance operational capabilities, better satisfy the needs of agents and customers, and lay a solid groundwork for long-term growth objectives.
On the morning of October 6, 2026, at the LION Electric Cable Factory Office, the Signing and Kick-off Ceremony for the Enterprise Management Digital Transformation Project SAP Cloud ERP took place between LION and Citek Company. Under this partnership, LION has selected SAP’s S/4HANA ERP solution (from Germany) to manage its overall corporate operations, seamlessly connecting its head office in Ho Chi Minh City with its factory and branch network nationwide.
With proven capability and extensive experience in successfully implementing SAP solutions for numerous industrial manufacturing enterprises both domestically and internationally, CITEK was chosen by LION as the implementation partner for the SAP S/4HANA solution in this project. Under the agreement, CITEK will execute the implementation within 7 months, with the system scheduled to go live in May 2027.
The SAP modules to be implemented at LION include:
- Sales and Distribution (SD)
- Procurement and Inventory Management (MM)
- Production Planning (PP)
- Financial Accounting, Management and Product Pricing Accounting (FI/CO)
- E-invoice Integration
- Barcode Integration for inbound and outbound transaction execution, along with several other modules.
This event marks a major milestone in LION’s management modernization strategy, demonstrating its strong commitment to building a foundation for sustainable growth in the new era.

As our operational scale expands, we recognize the need for a unified management system where data is fully connected and information is updated in real time to empower Executive Leadership to make fast, precise decisions.”
The choice of SAP Cloud ERP is expected to integrate data seamlessly across the entire lifecycle—from raw materials and production to distribution—on a single unified platform. This will enable LION to process orders faster, ensure on-time delivery, and collaborate more closely with its distributor network, customers, and large-scale M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) projects. Behind every LION electric cable product delivered to customers will be a standardized process and continually improving service.

Speaking at the ceremony, a representative of LION’s Executive Leadership affirmed that the project demonstrates the company’s determination to innovate its management methods, improve operational capabilities, and lay down a solid foundation for sustainable growth in the upcoming phase. LION expects SAP Cloud ERP not only to satisfy its current management demands, but also to establish a flexible technological framework that enables the business to scale up and realize its strategic goals—including moving further in international markets.

Representing the consulting partner, Mr. Nguyen Cong Tan, CEO of Citek Technology Joint Stock Company, emphasized: “A business can achieve rapid growth through manufacturing capacity and market expansion, but to achieve sustainable growth, its management capabilities must advance in step.” According to Mr. Tan, for LION, SAP Cloud ERP is not merely an IT project, but a fundamental shift in management approach.
During the ceremony, LION’s Executive Leadership called on its partners to pledge the highest commitment to technical quality, consulting capabilities, implementation timelines, and system restructuring effectiveness. At the same time, Leadership instructed the Project Board and relevant departments to align on implementation goals and scope, review and standardize business processes, ensure data quality and consistency, and strictly adhere to the agreed plans and timelines.

A representative from the Factory Board of Management shared: “We are focusing on practical, hands-on training to help our technical team and machine operators understand, utilize, and leverage data directly in their daily tasks.” Accordingly, LION will step-by-step standardize processes, deploy digital tools at the factory, and build a data-driven work culture—moving away from reliance on purely experience-based methods. This ensures that employees not only master technology but also proactively improve productivity, quality, and manufacturing efficiency.
